Daniels County Commissioners are Lalon Trang, C. William Tande and Norman Ruud. The Commissioners meet the first Monday and Tuesday, third Monday and other Mondays when necessary.

The City of Scobey is the largest city and County Seat in Daniels County with a population of 1082. The city council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.
